Catania
Closet city to our venue, Catania is an ancient port city on Sicily's east coast. A baroque city with a gritty energy. Set between the barren volcanic Etna and the azure Ionian Sea, Catania is a multi-faceted metropolis. This is a city that is truly captivating thanks to the richness of its Baroque architecture and its historical and artistic heritage, but also because of the spirit of a young and vibrant Sicily.

Syracuse
Also 30 minutes away from Commenda is Syracuse. Syracuse, or Siracusa, encapsulates Sicily's timeless beauty. Ancient Greek ruins rise out of lush citrus orchards, cafe tables spill onto dazzling baroque piazzas, and honey-hued medieval side streets lead down to the sparkling blue sea. Syracuse is known for its beautiful streetscapes and attractive dining, drinking and shopping options.

Taormina
The ancient city of Taormina is arguably the most famous and popular destination in Sicily. Backdropped by Mount Etna, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, the city is a tapestry of winding cobblestone and marble streets. Palermo
Palermo the capital of both the autonomous region of Sicily and the Metropolitan City of Palermo, the city's surrounding metropolitan province. The city is noted for its history, culture, architecture and gastronomy, playing an important role throughout much of its existence; it is over 2,700 years old. Palermo is in the northwest of the island of Sicily, by the Gulf of Palermo in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Cefalù, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is one of the most evocative destinations on the island. It is located on the northern coast of Sicily, and about an hour from Palermo. Cefalu is a picturesque seaside town with many narrow streets, shops, cafes and restaurants.
